DISC GOLF CHARITY PRO-AM TOURNAMENT SET FOR FEB. 17-18 AT PORT ROYAL PLANTATION ON HILTON HEAD ISLAND

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — The First Tee of The Lowcountry has arranged to host a pro-am disc golf tournament at Port Royal Plantation.

The event kicks off with practice rounds at (2 courses) at Port Royal Plantation Friday afternoon, Feb. 16. Saturday’s action starts 7-8  a.m. with player Check-In followed by a players meeting at 8 a.m. Then,  two rounds of competitive play, beginning at 9 a.m. on the courses specially designed by Premier Design Disc Golf. The final round is set for 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, followed by a 2 p.m. awards ceremony.

Organizers are specially outfitting the venerable Barrony courses at Port Royal Plantation for the tournament with 36 disc golf holes (with baskets generously donated by Innova Disc Golf). Serious players won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to throw discs on one of the South’s most popular golf courses.

All Players will receive:

1) Continental Breakfast Saturday and Sunday

2) Box Lunch Saturday and Sunday

3) A custom-stamped Tournament Disc to commemorate the event
