Congratulations to all of our award winners from the 2019 First Tee of The Lowcountry Community Leadership Banquet.
“Our community is blessed to have so many remarkable people who work so hard to make a difference,” said Board Chairman, Paul Caruso. “It’s our honor to recognize the impact these individuals have made.”
Honorees include: Alex Brown (Honesty), who has dedicated his time to keeping Gullah Culture at forefront; Margie Smith (Courtesy), decades of service to children in our community; Mark Baker (Respect), who has made community service a cornerstone of his work as CEO of Wood+Partners; Kathy Cramer (Responsibility), whose tireless work has changed countless live for special needs children; Rawn Grant (Perseverance), who is dedicated to serving the athletic needs of all children; Terry Finger (Judgment), who exemplifies good judgement as a municipal judge for 25 years; Monica Franklin (Confidence) who has improved the lives of countless young golfers, Dr. Jim Gault (Integrity), who has spent years nurturing healthy lifestyles in young people; and Doug Weaver ( Sportsmanship), who has proven tireless in giving freely of his golf knowledge and mentorship; and many more.
“The First Tee’s nine core values represent our fundamental approach to the game of golf and to teaching success in life,” said Executive Director, Pat Zuk. “We couldn’t have picked a better group of people to reflect those values.”
